Aside from effective SPF 30 sun protection, these powders are water-resistant, anti-aging, healing and hypoallergenic. They will not clog pores, and are anti-inflammatory; excellent for post-treatment, acne or rosacea.
Application: To prep the brush, pump it three times; then make small circular motions on the back of the hand to release the powder. At this point, the brush is ready to use. If the minerals are not releasing from the brush, repeat the prepping stage. This should be a one-time process, please do not keep pumping the brush with every use!
To begin, start at the top of the forehead and apply the minerals in small circular motions. Go thoroughly down one side of the face and then up the other side, ending back at the forehead. For light coverage, complete this process two to three times. For medium coverage, repeat this process three to five times.
At first, it might appear that the minerals have not given enough coverage or that the powder is sitting on the face. Please allow 3–5 minutes after each application to assess coverage on your skin, then apply more if needed.

I have been using this for about 3 years. It is the only foundation I will ever use again. My skin has never felt so wonderful! I have a small bowl with lid that I pour powder into and use the lid to blot extra powder off brush. It really helps to make it go farther! I love the way it makes your face look like you just have great skin. It is so much better than anything I have ever tried before. Eminence has literally saved my face :)

Im not sure about using this as a sunscreen...here in FL you need way more than a dusting of powder. But...I use this powder as a mattifying powder to touch my face up in the middle of the day when my oily face is starting to look shiny. It works great, with a matte that takes the shine right off...and I know my sensitive skin wont clog or breakout from it. Note: I have two of the powders, one in a darker color and the translucent, and one of the mechanisms on the brush to the dispense the poder doesnt work very well. I have to bang the brush on something to get the product out. So check the mechanism and make sure it works before you throw the box away, you may need to return it.

I LOVE this product. I've tried different mineral powder sun screens but none go on as smoothly and with as nice a finished look. The all in one brush is really great, simple to use and easy to toss in the purse for quick touchups.
It took me a couple tries to get the right amount - the powder goes on so lightly that I tended to overdo it at first thinking it wasn't coming out of the brush, but once I got the hang of it it's been perfect.
